TLI Offers New Courses
June 10, 2011
(From Bobby G.) Many of you know that the Texas Leadership Institute that was under the guidance of LCRA for 15 years has been transferred and reconstituted as a program of the Texas Center for Rural Entrepreneurship. The TCRE board and leader Greg Clary have been re-engineering the program and have recently announced a new round of course offerings. Among the new offerings are “Marketing and Social Media Best Practices for Economic Development,” “Ten Best Practices of Effective Board Operations,” and “Tools for Successful Business and Economic Development.”
These are one-day workshops offered at a cost of $99. We will list as many of the courses as possible on the TRIF Events calendar, but as the offerings expand, you should visit the TCRE Store, where additional information and on-line registration is available. The TCRE Store is at:

While much is familiar about these programs, one wonderful new feature: they are offered at many locations around the state. Please take a look at the courses and give your thoughts to the TCRE team as they continue shaping this important program.
